Michael Sperandio

B.S. BIOLOGY (WITH HONORS) – THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS, AUSTIN

Michael Sperandio is a founding partner of Ancorian. In his 15 years of real estate experience Michael has participated in a number of successful investment and development projects and has partnered with firms ranging in size from small family offices to Fortune 500 companies. Michael is currently involved in a number of real estate development pursuits in a variety of product types that range from industrial manufacturing facilities to high profile urban infill redevelopment opportunities.

Michael previously founded Finial Development & Construction overseeing the firm’s development and investment activities. In this capacity he was involved in sourcing, acquiring, and developing over $125 MM in real estate assets. Michael began his real estate career by serving in a number of capacities for AVERA Capital Partners, a Houston based real estate development firm. During his tenure at AVERA, he was involved in the development, construction, leasing, and management of over 1MM SF of institutional industrial assets. His responsibilities included site acquisitions, market analysis, financial analysis, capital structuring, and project management in the greater Houston area. In addition to local development projects, Michael also directed remote location development and construction activities in many of the major oil & gas shale plays throughout the United States, including the Eagle Ford, Marcellus, Haynesville, Utica, and Bakken shale regions.

Michael is involved in a number of local philanthropic endeavors which include serving as a founding board member of People Against Leigh’s Syndrome (PALS) PALS, as a committee member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and volunteering his time coaching numerous youth teams in the Spring Branch Memorial Sports Association.
